The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Fire Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and reporting on various fire safety equipment, performing repairs, and communicating with clients on defect findings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Test and maintain fire panels, pumps, emergency warning systems, and portable fire equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS requirements for each client site.
  • Conduct thorough testing of EWIS and Building Occupant Warning Systems.
  • Complete maintenance log documentation accurately.
  • Raise defect reports as necessary.
  • Participate in the On-Call Team, handling emergency out-of-hours call-outs when required.
  • Support other teams and staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification in electrical work would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Holding a current manual NSW driver's license is a must.
  • Demonstrate reliability and commitment to high work standards.
  • Possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Show ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within our team.
  • Display a great attitude, willingness to learn, and focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Be proactive and conscientious in your approach to work.
  • Show keenness to learn and grow with our organization.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Exhibit reliability and commitment to high-quality work.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
