Position Summary:

This role involves shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment services for goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts, and equipment at the assigned facility(s) in a safe and efficient manner.

The role requires interacting with internal and external customers, and demands a customer-centric attitude. Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position; errors could cause delays in schedules. This position requires being ready to start work on-time daily and maintaining strong attendance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working in a warehouse environment under various temperatures
  • Unloading vehicles, opening packages, and removing contents
  • Labelling goods with details of storage location
  • Picking goods for customer orders
  • Packing and sealing boxes
  • Operating equipment in a safe manner
  • Housekeeping, keeping all work areas clean and tidy

Minimum Requirements:

  • Entry-level role with 1-2 years of working experience in a warehouse environment preferred
  • Demonstrating company values - integrity, intensity, involvement, and innovation

Desired Experience:

  • Preferred warehousing experience and ability to focus on occupational health and safety, productivity & throughput, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Experience operating powered equipment at various heights preferred
  • Experience using ERPs preferred

Essential Skills:

  • Basic Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures, instructions, and meet schedules required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to collaborate and work with others

  • Adhering to OHS policies and procedures and ensuring a safe and healthy workplace environment
  • Adhering to the Chain of Responsibility obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law
