Operations Manager - Green Iron Pilot Plant">

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the safe and effective operation of our Green Iron Pilot Plant. The successful candidate will have a strong background in site mining operations, inclusive of plant operations from commissioning through to stable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead a team of Operations personnel to ensure the safe and effective operation of the plant.">
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety performance and maintain a positive culture of behaviour.">
  • Oversee and maintain appropriate plant inventories (consumables, resupply items).">
  • Commission new equipment and ensure it is brought online safely and effectively.">
  • Liaise with other departments (maintenance, electrical, process) to maintain plant status.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Degree qualified advantageous but not essential.">
  • Demonstrated prior learning in relevant fields (industry equivalent qualifications or similar).">
  • Strong background in site mining operations, inclusive of plant operations from commissioning through to stable operation.">
  • Oil/gas industry knowledge advantageous with respect to gas production and usage.">
  • Furnace or Hot Metals experience, Smelter Operation.">
  • Competency in all Microsoft suite packages.">
  • Skilled in machinery operations.">
  • Good personal organisation and ability to interface with others.">
  • BMS knowledge for site and company-based reporting.">
