We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Mental Health Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in a dynamic paediatric clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children and families.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and planning psychological interventions based on sensory, cognitive and physical needs
- Conducting clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need
- Providing information, education and support to clients and families
- Developing functional, routine-based goals to maximise skill development
- Collaborating with other disciplines in the clinic
- Providing therapy to NDIS participants
- Supporting children to participate in community activities
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work
- Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) status
- Membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
