Job Description

We're seeking a Cost Manager / Assistant Cost Manager with defence clearance or Australian citizenship to support all Defence projects in Sydney and the wider national Defence team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to senior cost managers across all aspects of projects, including cost estimates, quantity take-off, value engineering, tendering and evaluation, progress claim and variation assessment, final account close-out.
  • Estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan report.
  • Measurement of all building elements for cost planning.
  • Engage with the market to obtain quotations/pricing to support cost estimates.
  • Progress claim and variation assessments and valuations.

Requirements

  • Defence clearance or Australian citizenship.
  • Quantity Surveying or related degree.
  • 2-3 years post-graduate experience.
  • AIQS or RICS member or currently on the pathway to membership.
  • Experience in CostX is preferred.
