About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Western Australia.

This full-time role will be responsible for delivering innovative and practical structural engineering solutions for a variety of construction projects, encompassing residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing comprehensive structural analysis, design, and detailing to ensure safety and efficiency;
  • Collaborating with architects, builders, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and practical structural solutions;
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and identify potential issues;
  • Preparing detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications to support construction activities;
  • Providing expert technical advice and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process;
  • Evaluating and ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Mentoring and supervising junior members of the engineering team.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification;
  • At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in a similar structural engineering role;
  • Extensive experience in designing a wide range of building structures, including concrete, steel, and timber systems;
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with Australian building codes and regulations;
  • A valid driver's licence.
