This is an ideal position for someone seeking to spearhead innovative design solutions and drive product growth in a fast-growing scale-up environment.

As the sole Product Designer, you will have the chance to contribute your expertise to critical design projects, influence product direction, and strategy across our full suite of products.

  • Design & UX Workshops: Run hands-on workshops, conduct research, apply insights, create user flows, journey maps, and sketches.
  • Product Design Contributions: Contribute your expertise to critical design projects and influence product direction and strategy across the full suite of products.
  • Design Decisions: Own design decisions and be a steward of design excellence.
  • HCD Thinking: Apply human-centered design (HCD) and customer-centric thinking for exceptional user experiences.
  • Research Methods: Apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including journey and empathy mapping.
  • Prototyping: Utilise prototyping methods, from low to high fidelity.
  • Design Systems: Develop and employ design systems, with a focus on responsive design.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Technology teams, and other business stakeholders to drive outcomes.

We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years working in product design.
  • Complex B2B2C SAAS Experience: Experience working with complex B2B2C SAAS, Payments, Payment Gateway, or eCommerce products would be advantageous.
  • Figma Expertise: Extensive experience with Figma or similar design tools is essential.
  • Agile Methodologies: Expertise in agile methodologies, and experience working with offshore delivery teams.
  • Visual Design Experience: Extensive visual and interactive design experience with a background in creating accessible and inclusive designs.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to confidently lead workshops, inspire, and encourage innovation.
  • Hands-On Approach: A passion for being hands-on/in the detail – doing market research, determining customer needs and preferences, completing rough sketches, as well as design software and detailed drawings.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work across multiple streams of the business – engaging with stakeholders, communicating between teams, and interacting with customers and delivery partners.
  • Ambiguity Management: Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
