Principal Level P4 Job Description

This role is for a principal who can lead and manage a complex public school with a focus on delivering high-quality education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to leading Aboriginal education in a culturally safe way, working collaboratively with stakeholders to make an impact in every classroom.

We are seeking a resilient and approachable leader who can promote and nurture harmonious and productive relationships with all stakeholders to support students and raise the profile of the school.

The successful applicant will have high-level educational leadership skills, including the ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole-school teaching and learning programs.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading and managing the delivery of high-quality education at a complex public school
  • Developing and implementing inclusive teaching and learning programs that cater to the needs of all students
  • Building positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community
  • Fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the school

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualifications
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead and manage staff to improve teaching and learning
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective policies and procedures
