Education Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Education Manager to lead our team in shaping the future of education. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading large teams, educational operations management experience, and strong knowledge of educational best practices.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Envision and articulate a compelling vision for the future of education, formulate clear goals, and lead the team toward success through thoughtful decision making, effective communication, and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Human Resource Management: Ensure the implementation of appropriate human resource management policies, programs, and strategies to foster a productive and cooperative working environment.
  • Future Focused: Support the design of learning programs for current and future knowledge and skills needs, provide learning opportunities as needed, and support students and expert educators with up-to-date innovations in learning techniques and technologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality education by implementing assessment and evaluation strategies, monitoring academic progress, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Industry and Community Relations: Develop and enhance relationships with major industries, government agencies, and employer groups, identify emerging trends and developments, and communicate this information to appropriate stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An undergraduate degree in Adult or Vocational Education.
  • A Diploma in Management (Min AQF5) or a Graduate Certificate in Management.
  • Undergraduate degrees in both Adult or Vocational Education and Management.
  • Undergraduate Degree and formal Post Graduate qualifications in Adult or Vocational Education and Management.
