About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in the Chermside towards Windsor regions. You will be working with individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours, developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans, and championing their goals and strengths.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to NDIS participants through assessments and person-centred planning processes.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
  • Advocate for the elimination of restrictive practices and promote positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working within the NDIS framework.
  • Qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners or professionals with extensive experience in the disability sector.
  • Passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Commitment to person-centred practice and reducing restrictive interventions.
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to translate assessment findings into clear, actionable plans.
