About the Role:

As an Extended Care Assistant, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed aged care professionals. Your role will involve providing personalised support to deliver the best possible care and services to residents to meet their individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting residents with daily living and mobility duties such as showering, feeding and toileting to enhance daily life
  • Building and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, clients and their families to strengthen relationships within the business and local community
  • Recognising changes in clients conditions and report observations and concerns
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • The initiative and ability to work without supervision
  • Availability to work AM, PM and ND shifts
  • Commitment to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
