About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our dentists and hygienists.

  • Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organized.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.

In this hands-on role, you will work closely with our dental team and report to the Practice Manager. With a variety of procedures and a collaborative environment, there is plenty of opportunity to grow your skills and expand your knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential.
  • A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
