Store Team Member Job Description

We are seeking a Store Team Member to join our team. As a Store Team Member, you will be the face of our store and play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess excellent communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting and assisting customers with their queries
  • Restocking shelves and maintaining a tidy store environment
  • Processing transactions and handling cash and card payments
  • Providing product information and making recommendations to customers

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to:

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and colleagues
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Take initiative and adapt to changing situations

Requirements
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and stand for long periods
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of point-of-sale systems
