Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our Early Childhood Strategy Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic policy reforms in early childhood education, working collaboratively with government agencies, stakeholders, and partners to achieve a coherent and strategic approach to reform design, priority, and sequencing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead policy reform teams to develop and implement strategic policy reforms in early childhood education
  • Collaborate with government agencies, stakeholders, and partners to establish a comprehensive and integrated system for early childhood education and care
  • Oversee the operational policy development, service program design, and commissioning to ensure a child and family-centred outcomes-focused integrated system
  • Regulate early childhood education and care services and implement relevant legislative reforms
  • Lead the educational components of the Early Childhood Reform Plan and Best Start, Best Life reforms
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in leading policy reform teams and driving strategic change
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with government agencies, stakeholders, and partners
  • Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive and integrated systems for early childhood education and care
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policy frameworks in early childhood education and care
  • Ability to lead and manage high-performing teams
