Responsibilities:

  • Tendering and Bid Management:
  • Manage the bid approval process, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for all tenders to identify potential commercial, technical, and financial risks.
  • Work closely with engineering, legal, and financial teams to ensure all aspects of tenders are accurately represented.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients and partners to secure favourable terms and conditions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial management role within the engineering or construction industry, energy resources.
  • Previous in-house legal experience is also suitable.
  • Experience in tendering and bid management, preferably for large-scale engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and risk allocation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant commercial management software.
