About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry
- Assisting with meal preparation and shopping
- Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
- Personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Providing respite and emotional support
- Transporting customers to appointments
- Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability or Nursing
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
- Additional immunisations, including Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (chickenpox), TB (for candidates from countries with a high incidence of Tuberculosis), Influenza, and Covid 19
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
