Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Specialist to join our team at Koala Second Home in Campbelltown. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in preparing returned products for their next stage of life, working with our retail operation, charity partners, and recycling initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Develop innovative ways to attract local customers using online platforms and social media.
- Safety and Quality: Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and security within our Warehouse and Office spaces.
- Product Recovery: Focus on improving return product processes, recovering products to their best possible state, and identifying ways to fix broken items.
- Sustainability: Champion our sustainability direction, working towards minimizing our environmental impact and making sustainability a natural part of our daily work.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within groups, presenting ideas and feedback to improve operational processes and customer experiences.
- Adaptability: Be comfortable working with other departments, supporting other areas of the business as needed, and adapting to change.
- Customer Service Experience: Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a retail or customer-facing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using computers and other devices, with experience in warehousing or furniture assembly a plus.
- Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives through innovative suggestions.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, collaboratively within and across teams.
- Availability: Ability to work two weekends per month, with replacement time off provided.
