About the Role

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our Sydney location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using API gateways, API catalogs, and service mesh technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure and scalable APIs using API gateways, API catalogs, and service mesh technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement API strategies.
  • Manage the entire API lifecycle, from design and development to deployment, operation, and retirement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest API trends and technologies.
  • Apply Cloud SRE principles to ensure reliability and scalability of the API platform.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience as an API Platform Engineer or Architect or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of API gateways, API catalogs, and service mesh technologies.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to design and implement secure and scalable APIs.
  • Experience with API governance frameworks and best practices.
