Job Role OverviewThis role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on delivering cutting-edge digital risk solutions. As a senior consultant, you will be part of an elite group of professionals who provide expert advice and guidance to clients across various sectors.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing IT risks, developing complex skillsets, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with engagement teams to advise CIOs, CISOs, CDOs, and CTOs on managing IT risks and developing strategic solutions.
  • Develop and apply new, complex, and constantly evolving IT skillsets and topics to drive business outcomes.
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of clients across government, mining, and higher education institutions, providing expertise and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the coordination, planning, and delivery of various engagements, including Cyber Security, Data Governance and Privacy, AI Governance, Business Resilience, Third Party Risk Management, and more.
  • Collaborate with other team members to plan engagements, develop scope of works, risk and control matrices, and other planning documents.
  • Serve as a fieldwork leader by directing daily progress, informing supervisors and clients of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years' experience in internal or external audit and/or risk management from an IT, financial, and/or operations perspective.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen, including time management, spoken and written communication, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • A curious mindset and a 'have a go' attitude, with a willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and relationships effectively, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A logical and structured approach to challenges, projects, and documentation, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
