Hand Therapy Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated hand therapist to join our team.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment, providing assessment, treatment and manufacture of static and dynamic splints and casts to patients with hand and upper limb injuries or diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assessment and treatment of hand and upper limb injury and disease
  2. Manufacture of static and dynamic splints and casts, and complete wound care
  3. Liaison with key stakeholders and surgeons regarding the rehabilitation process
  4. Preparation of written reports and involvement in the Return to Work process
Requirements:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within the profession
  • Minimum 12 months of specific hand therapy experience
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated capacity for executing tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
