Veterinary Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Director to join our team at Greencross Pet Wellness Company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and ensuring high standards of veterinary care.

• Provide clinical leadership and direction to our veterinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage complex medical and surgical cases, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Mentor and support junior veterinarians and nursing staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment and promoting professional growth and development.
• Work closely with other experienced veterinarians in the team, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive excellence in patient care and hospital operations.
• Handle a diverse caseload, from routine consultations to complex medical and surgical cases, and maintain strong communication with clients to ensure they are fully informed about treatment options and care plans.
• Contribute to the growth and development of our hospital's services and reputation within the local community, through strategic planning and collaboration with our team.

• A Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) or completion of NAVLE, AVE, or equivalent examinations.
• A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities and management skills.
• Strong communication skills, with a desire to mentor junior staff and provide excellent client care.
• Confidence in consulting, diagnosing, and treating companion animals independently.
