Alternative Education Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team in Joondalup. As a Teacher in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with students who require intensive support and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching programs to students with complex needs.
- Collaborate with other Teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Use communication skills to engage with students and build strong relationships.
- Develop and implement social and emotional curricula that meet the student's needs.
- A valid teacher qualification and registration.
- An Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or a valid visa with relevant work rights.
- A WA Working with Children Check before starting.
- A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Screening Clearance Number issued by the relevant authority.
This is a 15-month fixed-term position commencing in Term 3, 2025, with possible extension and/or permanency. The alternative learning program provides an excellent opportunity for Teachers to be part of a multi-skilled team focused on a student-centric model built around an ecological framework of support.
