Job Title: Fire Protection Engineer - Project Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to lead our team in delivering exceptional fire protection solutions. As a Fire Protection Engineer - Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing the design, delivery, and management of all phases of the project lifecycle from concept design through to construction/commissioning phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design, delivery, and management of all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Be responsible for the design of implement sprinkler, deluge suppression systems, gas suppression & alarm systems across a range of projects.
  • Use your experience in fire protection (wet and dry) to mentor and develop junior engineers within the team, whilst delivering projects yourself.
  • Act as a key client-interface ensuring existing relationships are strengthened whilst generating future business for the team by delivering exceptional results to our clients.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, 10+ years' experience as a Fire Protection Engineer for an Engineering Consultancy.
  • Relevant degree with NER registration and/or accreditation under the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) – Fire Systems Design (desirable).
  • Track record in engineering design and consulting on medium to large scale projects acting as Project Lead.
  • Exposure to industry standard software such as Hyena with exposure to Revit, AutoCAD (preferred).
