Job Title: Senior Environmental Field Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Field Officer to join our team.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental monitoring activities, including sampling and analysis of water and dust samples.
  • They will also be required to maintain and calibrate equipment, as well as provide training and guidance to junior staff members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, with experience in field monitoring and laboratory analysis. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct environmental monitoring activities, including sampling and analysis of water and dust samples.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision of results.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members, ensuring they understand and can perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in environmental monitoring and laboratory analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks effectively.
