About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineering Manager to join our team at Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity to build and manage services that drive incident response across all Amazon Web Services (AWS).

As a Security Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of software development engineers, security engineers, and program managers to develop innovative security solutions at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to protect the AWS cloud for all customers and preserve customer trust.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent project management skills, and great communication skills. You should be able to innovate and solve security challenges at a massive scale, orchestrate strategy and direction, hire and build a cross-functional engineering team, and foster a strong team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience developing, maintaining, and scaling production software
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing and building teams (including coaching and mentoring)
  • AWS Solutions Architect (Associate level) certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
