Senior Psychology Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our close-knit and supportive team. The successful candidate will have a solid clinical background, be passionate about both education and research, and eager to create an engaging learning environment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical classes, workshops, and assessments that align with the Discipline's research focus.
  • Undertake unit coordination, ensuring effective teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Conduct high-quality research, including publishing and funding applications (role-dependent), contributing to the growth of the Discipline.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, government agencies, and community groups to support the initiatives of the Discipline.

Essential Requirements:

  • A PhD in Psychology or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in teaching at the tertiary level, particularly in psychology.
  • Full registration with AHPRA as a psychologist with clinical endorsement and PsyBA approval for supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and relationship-building with staff, students, and stakeholders.
