Position Overview
The Accountant or Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in providing high-end bespoke accounting services to our clients. This role involves direct liaison with clients, collaborative strategy development, and working with team members and partners across all our services areas.
Key Responsibilities
As an Accounting Professional, you will:
- Offer accounting and advisory services to a diverse clientele, covering local and international clients.
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, monthly management reports, and other regulatory returns.
- Maintain and cultivate strong client relationships through direct liaison.
- Lead client engagements and be the first point of contact for clients.
- Mentor and train junior staff.
- Develop and implement client strategies in collaboration with team members and partners.
- Drive exceptional client service in all that we do.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 2-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a business services team within a chartered accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero and MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on strong Excel knowledge.
- A well-developed understanding of accounting principles and tax laws.
- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering quality service and maintaining strong client relationships.
