Personal Care Worker - Residential Aged Care

CraigCare Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team at our Moonee Ponds home. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to assist residents in maintaining their independence, including medication management.
  • Assist and enable residents to complete activities according to their individual care plans.
  • Contribute to hotel services by checking residents' daily menu requirements, attending to meal preparation and delivery.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care is preferred (or currently working towards).
  • Medication experience and medication competency is a must.
  • Previous experience in Aged Care.
  • Commitment to providing excellent residential care and services.
  • Availability to work across the week (AM and PM).
  • Basic computer skills.
Essential Requirements
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance (or willing to obtain).
  • Current Police check clearance (or willing to obtain).
  • Proof of Work rights in Australia.
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose).
  • Proof of Flu vaccination (current year).
