We are seeking an electrical professional to join our locomotive build team at a leading engineering and construction services provider.

About the role

  • Conduct control and power circuit terminations & crimping
  • Install conduit (rigid & flexible), cable ducting, cable harnesses and looms
  • Disconnect and reconnect of motors and equipment

Requirements

  • Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency - Electrical
  • Experience with panel wiring, cable harness / looming & termination, mil spec plug termination & assembly, cable harness manufacturing
  • Harness schedule & device report interpretation
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience in hydraulic crimping, insulated lug crimping, pin crimping for various types of plugs
  • Knowledge of liquitite conduit fittings
  • Ability to work to a fast paced production schedule
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
