Job Overview

This is a leadership role within our retail operations. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the workflow of a designated department and supporting the store senior leadership team.

You will play a key part in setting an example to other team members and ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly. This involves coordinating stock, ensuring merchandising standards are met, and providing support to the team through coaching and feedback.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to motivate and guide your team to achieve results and standards.

We are looking for someone with previous experience supervising a team in a similar environment. You should have a genuine interest in coaching and developing others and be able to provide feedback and guidance when needed.

About The Role
  1. Setting an Example: As a supervisor, you will set an example to other team members by demonstrating excellent service and behavior. You will support the team in delivering friendly and helpful advice to customers.
  2. Catching On Right Behaviours: You will work closely with the team to ensure they are following the right service behaviors and providing a positive customer experience.
  3. Inducting and Training: You will assist with inducting and training new team members, helping them to settle into their roles and develop the skills they need to succeed.
  4. Merchandising Standards: You will work to ensure that merchandising standards fit with business requirements, making sure that products are displayed in a way that is appealing to customers.
  5. Coordinating Stock: You will coordinate stock levels to ensure that we have the right products available for our customers.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: You should have previous experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Cohesion And Motivation: You will need to be able to motivate and guide your team to achieve results and standards.
  • Customer Focus: You should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in coaching and developing others and be able to provide feedback and guidance when needed.
  • Results Driven: You will need to be able to achieve results and standards by working with your team.
