About Our Dance Opportunities
Our team provides dance instructors to schools, clubs, and councils across Melbourne. We are seeking experienced dance professionals to deliver high-quality dance programs in various locations throughout the city.
Dance instructors will be responsible for coaching, attending training sessions, and facilitating competition games as required. A current Working with Children check is mandatory, and candidates with a good level of experience and ability to provide children with a thorough dance experience are preferred.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous sports coaching or playing experience
- A valid Working with Children Check
- Child Protection Training (desired)
- First Aid and CPR Training (desired)
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality dance programs
- Attending and conducting all training sessions
- Facilitating competition games as required
- Being reliable and organized
Additional Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of standard coaching practices
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential matters
- Effective communication with diverse communities
