Position Overview

We are currently seeking enthusiastic casual educators to join our team. As a casual educator, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of services across the Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the growth and development of young minds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Engage in age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development, encouraging children to explore and discover their surroundings.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Monitor children's well-being and respond promptly to their needs, ensuring their safety and happiness.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or currently working towards.
  • Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their growth.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
  • Flexibility to work across different childcare centers and adapt to various environments.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate/s (ACECQA Approved) or willingness to obtain.
