We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Lead to join our Networks Team in Chatswood.

Confluence Water, a joint venture between Ventia, Downer, and Jacobs, delivers services under Sydney Water's Partnering for Success program. Our team is responsible for design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services in Sydney Water's North region.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from RFQ through Stage 1 and 2 to close out. As a Project Manager Lead, you will be responsible for overall project build ownership, cost, time, and risk management tasks required to deliver successful projects.

You will have overall project management responsibility for your assigned projects, working closely with Sydney Water to understand the scope of works, specifications, and desired performance outcomes. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and a deep understanding of water and wastewater networks infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including Sydney Water, to ensure project success
  • Develop and implement effective safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure zero harm
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to stakeholders
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the water and wastewater industry
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A Class C Driver License and Construction Industry White Card
