Quality Assurance Role

We are seeking an experienced quality assurance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and an inquisitive, proactive mindset.

This is a senior-level position that involves creating a culture of quality and taking ownership of and improving how we test software and hardware solutions.

The role includes developing test plans and building test cases for features, releases, and regression tests. It also involves executing manual test cases for bug fixes, features, and regression tests.

You will be responsible for planning and executing integration tests that bring together custom hardware devices, on-board vehicle touchscreen devices, and web/desktop software applications.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with developers to troubleshoot issues, participating in design reviews, and tracking and reporting on quality metrics.

Experience in firmware and software QA, with preferably a minimum of 5 years in QA or related technical roles, is required.

Strong working knowledge of Linux and the Linux command line, as well as experience with manual and automated testing and familiarity with test automation frameworks, is also necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop test plans and build test cases for features, releases, and regression tests
  • Execute manual test cases for bugfixes, features, and regression tests
  • Plan and execute integration tests that bring together constellations of custom hardware devices, on-board vehicle touchscreen devices, and web/desktop software applications
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in firmware and software QA
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux and the Linux command line
  • Experience with manual and automated testing and familiarity with test automation frameworks
