Job Summary

As a Precision Instrument Specialist at Mettler Toledo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' industrial processes. Your primary responsibility will be to install, configure, and optimize high-precision instruments, as well as perform routine maintenance, service, and calibrations of weighing equipment and analytical instruments. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues accurately and efficiently, providing advice and technical support to our customers in various industries. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and solutions, and stay updated with the latest industry trends with Mettler Toledo technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and optimize high-precision instruments
  • Perform routine maintenance, service, and calibrations of weighing equipment and analytical instruments
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues accurately and efficiently
  • Provide advice and technical support to customers in various industries
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends with Mettler Toledo technologies


Requirements

  • Possession of a diploma/certificate in electronics or mechanics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Flexibility and availability to travel
  • Demonstrable experience of office and technical software (MS Word and Excel)
  • Valid Driver's Licence essential & willingness to travel within a defined geographical area
  • Strong customer focus, we want you to be our customers' trusted advisor
  • Relevant technical training (electrical engineering, mechatronics or software), ideally with an official Technical Certification – but if you bring the right attitude, we are also happy to give career starters a chance
  • Good application and network skills (ideally also knowledge in Windows based applications)
