We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator to join our faculty at a reputable high school in Mackay. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach a range of subjects including Digital Technologies, Science, English, Mathematics and Humanities.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress\
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in education\
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture\
  • Meet all state and national requirements for teaching qualifications and registration\
  • Hold current Australian working rights or a valid visa\
  • Have a strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation\
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment\
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities\
  • Have a strong commitment to ongoing professional learning and development\
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly\
