About this Opportunity

We seek a forward-thinking leader to spearhead rural health education, research, and service delivery across Southern Queensland.

This role offers the chance to:

  • Shape rural health workforce policy at local, state, and national levels;

The ideal candidate will oversee student-led clinics, foster high-quality clinical supervision, and champion initiatives that increase placement capacity through telehealth, mobile clinics, and new service models.

Influencing policy, building partnerships, driving innovation, and leading a high-performing team are just some of the key responsibilities of this role.

The position requires exceptional leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
