Job Summary

The National Disability Insurance Agency is seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our Technical Advice and Practice Improvement Branch. As a Research Officer, you will play a critical role in conducting and presenting research to support the goals and functions of the Branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews and evaluate evidence to inform policy and practice decisions
  • Perform environmental scans of State or Federal regulatory frameworks to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare and present research results in accessible, plain language documentation
  • Keep accurate records of research tasks and processes

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously to deliver high-quality research reports
  • Understanding and experience of the research process and principles of evidence-based practice
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources to make evidence-based decisions
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to the NDIS Act
