Academic Instructor in Healthcare

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to join our faculty as a Lecturer in Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging in research aligned with the faculty's health priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver innovative curricula and teaching resources that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Design and implement blended and online learning experiences that promote student engagement and academic success.
• Pursue research opportunities that enhance the university's professional profile and contribute to the advancement of nursing knowledge.
• Participate in faculty meetings, community engagement, and collaborative initiatives that foster a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

• Hold a postgraduate qualification in nursing or a related area.
• Be currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Demonstrate experience in teaching nursing students within a university setting.
• Show evidence of designing and implementing innovative curricula and teaching resources.
• Have knowledge of contemporary educational technologies for blended and online learning.
• Demonstrate a proven record of research output and publication, including grant-funded projects.
• Hold primary healthcare experience.
