We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Cloud Solutions Architect. This position requires strong technical knowledge of cloud concepts and experience running proof-of-concepts for software, hardware, and cloud solutions.

About the Role

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will also be involved in presenting at customer and partner events, enabling the AWS architect community, and participating in industry meet-ups and user groups.

Your primary focus will be on FSx for NetApp ONTAP, a 1st party service owned, managed, and supported by AWS. You will work alongside colleagues in both NetApp and AWS to identify and understand candidate workloads, architect appropriate solutions, demo, design and run proof-of-concepts, and onboard customers.

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the world, focusing on the A NZ region. You will be based in Canberra, Australia, and will be required to travel within APAC to customer locations, and occasionally further afield.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Presenting at customer and partner events, enabling the AWS architect community, and participating in industry meet-ups and user groups
  • Working alongside colleagues in both NetApp and AWS to identify and understand candidate workloads, architect appropriate solutions, demo, design and run proof-of-concepts, and onboard customers

You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest developments in public cloud services, acquire and maintain technical expertise, and develop or enhance processes and techniques employed by our sales and technical teams.
