Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a cohesive team of Midwives and professionals to ensure safe patient care is provided to our women.
- Empower and work closely with women and their families to meet their needs across the continuum, advocating for their choices and care where safe to do so.
- Provide education to women and families, and mentor junior staff.
- Assess, plan, develop, implement, and review care in partnership with the broader Monash Women's teams.
Our team delivers exceptional care to expectant mothers, offering a comprehensive range of services from routine pregnancies to high-risk conditions. Our dedicated team of experienced midwives, Obstetric Registrars, and Consultants collaboratively provide specialized antenatal and perinatal care, including advanced diagnostic services and one-to-one support during labor.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge:
- APHRA registration to practice independently as a registered Midwife.
- Proven experience and knowledge working in an Acute Maternity service.
- Outstanding communication and time management skills, coupled with delivering evidence-based holistic patient-centered care.
- Willingness to participate in quality and/or research projects to improve the standard of midwifery care.
