Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Process Manager

This role is a senior technical position within our team, where you will oversee the development, improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes, plant and equipment. Your responsibilities include managing a team to deliver both continual improvements as well as an exciting capital works program.


Main Responsibilities
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste. This includes business case, design and implementation of mechanical improvements to existing and new plant and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage, train and mentor junior engineers and drafting technicians to ensure deliverables are achieved in accordance with business priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to production teams on development of processes and systems.
  • Project management of the delivery of projects ranging from minor mechanical/electrical improvements to large scale procurement and commissioning.
  • Oversee delivery of capital works program.

About You
  • You need previous experience in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes, equipment and tools is essential.
  • Proven experience in problem solving and data analytics is necessary.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and projects is required.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar other engineering tools is desired.
  • Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
