About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Community & Customer Engagement Manager to join our team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our Community and Place Branch, you will play a critical role in shaping our narrative and amplifying the impact of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee a strong and experienced communications and engagement team to deliver strategic communication and stakeholder engagement services.
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on community consultation, customer information, internal communication, issues management, and digital strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to foster public trust and ensure our stakeholders are engaged and empowered by our work.
  • Support the Coffs Harbour Bypass Project and be based in Coffs Harbour or the surrounding North Coast area to attend project sites in person.

  • You are a knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate communications and engagement leader with strong people management skills.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and thrive in a supportive team environment.
  • You enjoy working in a hybrid way and thrive when provided with flexibility and autonomy to deliver results.
