Aboriginal Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and culturally competent Aboriginal Medical Receptionist to join our team at Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service (AWAHS). As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional reception and administrative services.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality reception and administrative services to patients, doctors, and peers.
- Manage appointment bookings and scheduling with accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and computer skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and respect for Aboriginal health, culture, and history.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential for this role.
- Confidentially manage and action documentation within required timeframes.
- Commit to the community and prioritize clients' best interests.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills are necessary to meet deadlines and support the team.
- Current Driver's License is required.

Requirements:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
- Relevant experience in reception/administration work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Driver's License.
