About the Role:

SHRED-X, a proud member of the Freightways Ltd group, is seeking a passionate and experienced State Manager - QLD to oversee our operations and drive our commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Drive daily production targets and logistics efficiencies while managing branch personnel.
  • Leadership: Mentor and support your team of managers and team leaders, conducting performance reviews and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop branch strategies aligned with our business vision.
  • Profitability & Compliance: Ensure the branch meets and exceeds budget and KPI expectations while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong operational background in logistics management, with proven experience in leading a branch or group of branches.
  • Demonstrating strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
  • Analysing business data for evidence-based decision-making.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and managing change.

Requirements:

  • Strong safety focus and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to business demands and drive outcomes through organizational effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in logistics and CRM software, MS Office, and advanced Excel.
  • A degree in Business or Operations Management is preferable but not essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and achieve positive business-first outcomes.
