About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at Technical Resources. As a key member of our civil design team, you will be responsible for working on preliminary engineering design of overhead transmission lines, solar farms, and wind farms.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design of overhead lines and a strong understanding of Australian Standards (Civil/Structural). You will work closely with our engineering team to contribute to the successful completion of projects and gain valuable experience and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and perform the design and analysis of civil engineering designs, including site development and drainage systems.
  2. Lead the management of detailed engineering design packages.
  3. Provide technical input to basis of designs and review/draft technical reports.
  4. Establish and update technical design standards and procedures.
  5. Support construction teams with procurement and technical queries.
  6. Manage and implement design changes and optimisation.
  7. Provide mentorship to civil engineers and junior engineers.
  8. Conduct quality checks and reviews of design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  1. Detailed design engineering experience with bulk earthworks.
  2. Essential - Overhead Lines Design.
  3. Engineering Qualification.
  4. Strong knowledge and application of Australian Standards (Civil/Structural).
