We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as Deputy Head of Primary.

The successful applicant will be responsible for guiding the daily life of our school, mentoring staff, supporting team leaders, overseeing student wellbeing and behaviour, and partnering with parents and carers in ways that build trust and shared purpose.

This role offers a unique blend of leadership and teaching responsibilities, including a small teaching allocation. The ideal candidate will be able to lead systems, support staff, and stay close to the classroom so their leadership remains grounded in what matters most.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Be a thoughtful leader with a heart for discipleship and formation
  • Bring proven leadership experience within a Primary setting
  • Be highly collaborative, organised, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the relevant teaching authority
  • Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
  • Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
