Job Summary

This is a great opportunity to work with clients in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu region, assisting them to remain living independently within the community. The position involves providing personal care services such as showering, bathing, and toileting management, as well as household support including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

The role also involves working in day centres, assisting with activities and providing transport assistance. A wellness and reablement approach is used to deliver services, focusing on client directed goals. The ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.

The successful candidate will hold a current driver's licence and have access to reliable transport. They will be flexible, conscientious, and able to work under limited direction. A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and displaying empathy towards the elderly and disabled is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care services to clients
  • Assisting with household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Working in day centres, assisting with activities and providing transport assistance
