As a Visiting Medical Officer at Kempsey District Hospital, you will provide comprehensive services as a specialist anaesthetist. This role offers a unique opportunity to support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines and contribute to optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality specialist services for the benefit of patients.
- Support and train healthcare professionals in various disciplines to enhance quality education and safe clinical practice.
- Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a General Practitioner, Specialist Anaesthetist, or GP in training, and/or overseas-trained specialist pathways is mandatory.
- Maintaining current professional development and certification requirements in line with the Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA) and the RACGP or ACRRM is essential.
- Employment Type: Visiting Medical Officer.
- Position Classification: General Practitioner - Anaesthetist.
- Working Hours: As per roster.
- New employees must comply with the requirements outlined in the Occupational assessment screening and vaccination - FAQ section.
