About the Role
Gold Coast Health is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurses to join our Community Child Health team. As a Clinical Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to families in a variety of settings across the Gold Coast.
Key Responsibilities
- Work autonomously to plan, implement, and evaluate health initiatives that promote positive health outcomes for children aged 0-6 and their families.
- Act as an advocate for families, providing support and guidance to ensure they receive the best possible care.
- Undertake holistic assessments for children and provide support to families in a culturally safe environment.
- Provide confidential health consultations and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
- Tuberculosis screening to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
- A declaration of any serious discipline history.
- Criminal History Screening.
