Key Responsibilities

  • Work autonomously to plan, implement, and evaluate health initiatives that promote positive health outcomes for children aged 0-6 and their families.
  • Act as an advocate for families, providing support and guidance to ensure they receive the best possible care.
  • Undertake holistic assessments for children and provide support to families in a culturally safe environment.
  • Provide confidential health consultations and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and family.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
  • Tuberculosis screening to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
  • A declaration of any serious discipline history.
  • Criminal History Screening.
